It would appear that the camera must have been held by a rabid wildebeest on crack. My wife did not even l...

The COTT this year was indeed the highlight of my war this year. My thanks to the English For allowing me to participate. Parcipitating in the Combat will be my highlight of future Pennsic's as well. Also it was most amazing to watch the stout combat and the passing of the couter of chivlary being p...

I would be happy to attend on the English roster, if I can get rid of my egg gauntlets and get a proper set of finger gauntlets. (I am working on this) And the rest of my kit is deemed appropriate. Although my kit leans more towards the earlier part of the century as opposed to the later part that I...

This is my first attempts at woodworking. I generally devote my time to brewing However, I was getting really tired of our nylon camp chairs so I decided to try to make a Glastonbury type chair. For my next one I will definatly make some changes. thicker wood for one it really is too unstable with h...

I do have a tablesaw. As far as planing I only have hand planes Stanley#4 Record #7 and a 14 inch Indian made record copy. I really need a power jointer and planer. But those purchases will take some time. And i have not really got my sharpening quite down yet so hand planing can be quite rough for ...

I have found that actual padding disperses a shot better than my steel legs ever did. My 2c ditch the hose and fill em with batting and give them a test run. You might be suprised at how much shock is absorbed. then again i have these god awful tree trunks for legs so it might be my extra padding th...

My first foray into woodworking.
Hey there everyone I figured I would put up my first attempts at some woodworking.
I gotta say it is way harder than I could ever have imagined.
At least I have learned quite a few lessons for the next ones.
A Glastonbury type chair and a bench I did real quick.
Regards,
Edmond
