John,

Any idea on when in June you're looking at? Trying to get some summer plans in place.

Hope all's well with you and the family!

Jehan, I am so excited to hear that you're doing another CiT! Folks, I was able to attend the last CiT, and I can tell you that you won't be disappointed. It was fabulous and totally inspiring for me. I'll be encouraging some friends to consider the trip down there. I'm sure I can talk Morgan into i...

Looking forward to coming down to the Tournament! Bringing my son, who had a blast last year. Also, a couple of friends from the other side of the state are coming as well.

See you in a couple of weeks!

A tip on attaching the vervelles. If they are the type that are piened on the inside of the helm, put a nail or a drill bit in the hole of the vervelle before hammering. This will keep the vervelle hole from collapsing when you are piening the rivet end.

Good luck!

Would you think that 14 ga stainless on the skull and 16 ga stainless on the visor and wrapper be sufficient?

Thanks to all for your comments and observations.

I've been wearing some of Master Knut's stuff for way over 15 years and it's still in great shape, with no missing links at all. For long tern use, I don't think that you can beat Knut's wares. I could be argured that Icefalcon's has a more "medieval" look, and that has value as well. Personally, I'...

Very interesting question and even more interesting comments. I've been to a bunch of Estrella Wars and 4 Pennsic Wars. For me the biggest difference in the "feel", is the sheer duration of Pennsic. Once you get there, you pretty much settle in and go with the flow. Estrella is considerably shorter,...

Both Historic Enterprises and Revival have 1 inch belts with decent buckles and belt tips that work for 14th C.

If you've got friends going to Estrella, there will be numerous merchants there who sell belts, including red and white, have one of them pick up a belt for you.
