LTB Classial Greek armor

I'm returning to armored combat after a 5-8 year hiatus. All of my leather gear has died. So I'm looking to buy a linothorax, bazubands, shovel greaves, and gorget. I've already been directed to Tradewinds of the Levanent but wanted to see if there wre other merchants out there.

Re: Armourer Help needed in Madison, WI

I happen to be the marshal in Jaravellir atm. Nothing really wrong with the helm in question. It was worn by one of our local fighters as his primary hat for quite a while with no issues at all. It turns out the the fighter in question got a very light concussion. This also never occurred while it ...

Armourer Help needed in Madison, WI

A mutal friend on FB had one of her friends in the Barony of Jararvellir try fighting for the first time this week. Unfortunately he was in a loaner spuntop helm and took a lucky shot to the head that caused excessive helm ringing and he experienced overnight ringing in his ears. Much encouragement ...

Dan,

I remember those points. But yes the find from Patras is what I'm interested in at the moment. I was looking for what info was available from that dig/ find and whether it had been published or not.

Dan, I've seen the article about the group from the UWGB. I've no interest in that research. I'm looking for the info from the RAT. As a matter of fact, it's that book that's popped up on one of my SCA groups that prompted me to find the info from the RAT thread so that I could redirect them to the ...

Dan,
I believe that may be the recent dig that I'm looking for. The original link listed here by Matthew appears to be dead, the one where he's converted. Do you know where I can find the page that the original RAT thread pointed to.

I hate to necro-raise this thread, actually not really I like this topic, but I'm trying to use the links that Matthew posted but they seem to be dead. I've tried to find them on the RAT but no luck deciphering the 42+ pages going back to 2010-2009.

Oswyn,

Thanks for the catch. I hadn't noticed the error, I've had alot on the mind. The 14thC set should be $160 & $340 respectively. Also as a set they come pre-riveted into the leather strips.I'll correct the top post as well.
