Re: My apology for before. Looking to start "warrior priest"

Insaneirish: i have the majority of a historical kit. Based on forth crusade-ish teutonic knights (exceltion being im not a knight and i still have not acquired the helmet) My intentions at this point is to acquire only the gorget and the pauldrons and their bits. At least at this point. As far as t...

My apology for before. Looking to start "warrior priest" kit

This will be my third time bringin this to the forum, and I apologize for all chaos caused by my previous attempts. Those involved may not remember, but they still have my apology. This time I have steady income, though geographical location will prevent the initial trade which i had planned for thi...

To those interested in obtaining the PU scope, i have decided i would accept an offer of $175, which is short of what they currently pull on ebay (average) by around $200. PM me with interest.

The helmet issue may have been solved, in which case the sword is gone. @Kelsale I am unsure as to what style of arms I should have. My chain shirt only covers up to aproximately my elbows. Although I am trying for a historical kit, I would currently say splinted would be best. Splints on the unders...

The only thing which prevents this rifle from being called standard is the hex receiver. Other then that all is standard.

"It is a dream; I will dream on." - Nietzsche I fully understand following what you can not have. There is a certain romantic attraction to organizations such as the SCA. And it will gather a certain kind of people who without it would have little or no common ground. So much good can be said for su...

What would be the most appropriate helmet styles for the Teutonic Knights, between 1200 and 1275? Its a wide range, but I am still working on the details of my kit and tis information would be helpful to the otehr posters aswell.

first off let me say I am a big fan of fantasy armor. However I don't think a video game is a good source of reference for historic armor or even workable fantasy armor for that matter. Artists can draw and render whatever they want because a real person won't have to move or fight in the stuff. th...

Question about accuracy: Crusader Armor

I have seen many drawings and pictures of crusaders of various orders that have a 'shield' strapped over the chain of one or both arms. Look at the left arm of the knight on the left side of the picture. http://www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/assassins-creed-screenshot.jpg I did...

You could always cast them. Carve one out of wax and then use that to make a few molds out of a mix of red brick dust and plaster of paris. If you can manage to get the ratio correct, then you can usually get twenty or more coins out of one mould. use pewter, you can use a barbeque as your foundry.

There is even a forum dedicated to this rifle.

I would be willing to except this work in either 14 or 16 gauge steel or equal in aluminum.

I prefer SCA legal, though it is not mandatory. I have an SCA kit, this i am planning mostly using within the boffer group AMTGARD.

Sword and rifle (and others) in exchange for armor work

What i have: A decent replica of a norse sword, good solid blade, good overall construction, no cutting edge. It is what i would call a stage sword. I bought thiss off of one of the seattle knights. Mosin Nagant 1891/30 +pu scope and mount (not attached to the rifle) +two original ammo pouches +orig...

Need Lamellar, have stuff to trade/sell

For a private event coming up, in order to fit in with my comrades, i need lamellar. Pre-built, or plates and lacing materials, or funds to acquire. WTB rivetted chain tools

Where does one go about acquiring the tools to produce wedge rivetted chain? Preferably in some sort of kit(to make the gaining of all neccesary tools easy). Any on this site sell them? Cost of said kit? mostly it is the punch to produce the holes in the rivets that i lack the ability to find.

To Salem the shipping cost would be $10 (its actually 9.87, but 10 is such a better number) and would take aproximatley 24 hours to reach you, depending upon what time i get it shipped. I would take the low profile elbows and knees.

Your choice of payment method shall be?
