The 2 pieces I need at the moment are a helm and some gauntlets. Both items need to be a minimum of 16ga mild steel in some european style. I'd prefer something Milanese in origin, but any european style can work.

A few months ago, I won a leather armor set in a charity auction sponsored by my Order. I ended up winning a black leather breast/back with corresponding bracers and gorget. I generally fight with steel in my Order, and it's certainly something else. I need to start getting in better shape, though. We do 7-point bouts as opposed to what these guys do. Can anybody tell what the criteria are for win/loss other than loss of fighting ability?
