Dished Round Pre-Order sale
SLOT COUNT DOWN - Now 10 left. Taking orders for 26" Dished round shields. Tariffs on Aluminum disrupted my supply chain (as in big companies got stock going to small companies diverted to fulfill their own contracts) which dried up supplies and raised prices. So the bad news is prices for these are...

Sodium Silicate or water glass, is one of those liquids. It is cheap, very available and it is used to stick CF to the steel walls of the furnace.

Re: Melting furnace for bronze
Why would you cover ceramic fiber with refractory cement? Ceramic fiber does a great job of reflecting heat and absorbs very little of it. Refractory cement materials absorb heat and then re-radiates it inefficiently. See Kiln Building with Space-Age Materials by Frank Colson. The two materials like...

Need to contact Windrose Armory
Hi, Captain Jamie here. I understand that the Windrose crew are traveling back from Lilies and the shop phone goes to voicemail for that reason but I have a pressing B2B need to speak to them. Re: By My Hand 1 piece hilt Review
I get to poke too. Price for one handed hilts is currently $45.00. There are several new varieties that will break from that price point. Breakage - I will need to write an essay on this and post it on the BMHD FB page. Short answer is - it happens to a few people but most customers are not sufferin...

Huh, I am missing a reply.
Tomburr - The elusive aspis shield and possibly larger rounds in 30" and 36". There is the possibility of forging dies for pommels too.

Re: Ransoming a new project
Can you expound on that just to make sure that I am understanding you? If I understand you the singular product price would need to include a portion of the tooling and the materials cost for the item and outside labor. So example -$5000.00 tooling $40.00 in materials per unit and 50 ransomers=$140....

Ransoming a new project
Has anyone used the ransom approach (seen in indie RPGs for instance) to raise the money to do a project and production run? From what I can see the people that would like a product that is too costly to be produced normally put up set amounts to help cover tooling and production costs. If the goal ...

Re: WTB By My Hand 1 Piece Sword Hilt
Question- would it be possible to have a trigger added to one of these? I don't have a welder myself or I'd do it. Nothing fancy, or even particularly pretty, maybe just a partial ring of round stock? I've also heard that the narrow openings on these cause a weak point on the stick that results in ...

Re: unpadded but light?
BdeB - I have heard of this ruling but apparently it is under going refinement. I keep answering questions from a Kingdom Marshal about the properties of the foam so that, presumably, the material(s) that are alright can be defined. Maybe it is a Kingdom that is trying to define it further. As a man...

Re: unpadded but light?
Vladimir - this is a concern for me also. I have used materials with densities in the 12 to 15 pound per cubic foot range for these heads. How much weight can I add to a polearm and still be considered safe? No one can tell me either. Further no one can say with any certainty that the amount of foam...
