Mordreth/anyone else, what comparison would you make between wool, 50/50 bamboo, or full bamboo? I would think if the bamboo is a rayon it would about kill you with lack of insulation in winter. How's the wool batting do in summer? Wool can be the best or the worst when it's warm.

Nevermind, found it. .075 polycarbonate. That's about the thickness of 14 gauge steel. Would that stand up to use as finger gauntlet plates?

Or, what type of plastic are plastic lamellar plates made of? Finger gauntlets made of that materials in one of their brown shades would be good enough. Wouldn't even really need to be covered with leather.

Nope. Could they be done in kydex? Those in kydex/[insert impact resistant plastic here] would be perfect.
