Seriously, even well-made 12 gauge helmets can get nicely dented. Do yourself a favor and protect whatever brains you have!

I would venture out onto the surface of Mars wearing a speedo before I would fight SCA in a 14 guage helmet, legal or no.

I guess I should add that all pieces are mild steel. The bascinet is 12 ga, the legs are 16 ga with 14 ga lames, the breastplate is 16 ga I believe. I am located in Los Angeles and would ship from there if you were interested in shipping..
