Shouldn't be any issues with US Customs. Nor should there be any fees or duty.

This is from the West Kingdom's handbook and I'm not sure how it compares to Trimaris.
IV. (a)(14) "No “punch weapons” or thrusting weapons that have the blade or tip more perpendicular than parallel to the grip."

You're trying to put thrusting tips (or equivalent) on your crossguard? Wouldn't that violate the "handle perpendicular to the thrust" rules?

Re: Cutler's resin documentation?
I found the reference to "frankincense" after I posted the question. So basically it's clarified (melted and filtered) evergreen sap that he uses as a cement. I've tried that in the past and found it to be extremely brittle, especially if it's cold out. I've had good results adding a bit of beeswax ...

Cutler's resin documentation?
Hello hive mind, it's nice to see you again... ;) I'm working on a new blade and am going to try using cutler's resin instead of a modern two part epoxy on the handle this time. I know what cutler's resin is, some of the basic recipes, and that it was used in period. But can anyone point me toward a...

Does Kult of Athena ship these from the US or do they come over from Europe? Kult of Athena sells Grozer bows. Made in Hungary and top notch in my experience.
That said, I bought two Chinese-made horse bows off of ebay a few years ago for $50 a pop that are still going strong.

I keep seeing people talking about helms you can get for under $500. Guys these helms in question are well under TWO hundred dollars. If they are going to be good enough to get someone on the field in a period-looking helm (at least period-looking enough for most people) I'm all for it. Lots of peop...
