I have been looking at the SCA again and noticed in many pics of events, the popular style seems to be a leather bellyband / weight lifting belt OVER a tunic.

They are mild steel but pretty shiny. I would wear a finger buckler if you want to do SCA heavy with them. Would be great for Adrian Shinai or maybe fencing or cut and thrust.
