Re: WTB BAZUBANDS - hardened leather or steal ready to ship
I have a pair I bought from Magnus a few years ago. They are medium-dark brown. They've been used a bit and are scuffed up but are tough as hell. I'll sell them for $75 plus shipping. E-mail me at craig@ottawaswordplay.com if you want them.

Well worth the price but beyond my current means. Honestly, this is a steal. I will need to start putting money aside for the next pair that comes up!

Holy crap, I nearly missed seeing this because of the holidays.
$200. For this and any other bid in this thread I will either cover extra shipping to Canada, or have it shipped to a friend in NY

Thanks Christian! Heck, I'd love to have access to a translation of Lew or Speyer at all! Comparisons of all four would be fantastic! I get what you say about Dobringer, although I still frequently pull out the relevant section when exploring something in von Danzig and want more information. These ...

Christian, I'd love it if you released the translation of Ringeck from "Secrets" without interpretation as its own book. Not an insult to the interpretation, but I understand the enormity of the task of reshooting the pictures and redoing the layout. I also think that the translation could stand on ...

Re: FS Auction Brass/Mild Steel Wisby-Style Gauntlets
Fairly easily. The plates are riveted to leather that is sewn to the glove, so you could add padding between the two layers. The difficulty would be in the very tips of the fingers, which are riveted to the gloves, so the last cm or so of each finger would be unpadded, unless you removed the rivet a...

Re: FS Auction Brass/Mild Steel Wisby-Style Gauntlets
I bought these gauntlets a year ago and beat the crap out of them. They are now retired because I don't have the wherewithal to repair the damage I did to them. I have nothing but praise for them, I used them hard, and got more out of them than I paid for them. They will remain on display in my swor...

Someone buy those knees and save me from myself.
I have beautiful spring steel knees, but they don't have the fluting. I really love the fluting, and it would bring me closer to my source effigies. And these are the nicest fluted 14th century knees I've seen. Gah!

I have also seen this helm in person and it is fantastic. My head is more or less the same size as jenzinas' although slightly different shape. It almost fits me, and if it did I would buy it in a heartbeat. Even though that would mean creating a kit to go with it.

I am looking for someone who can do brass castings for belt fittings. I have a similar belt that I patterned from an old painting. The sides were smaller than yourS, I think your design would give a little more protection to that upper thigh. Nice design even without the detailed borders. I like a little low key bling. Well done! Can you elaborate on this? Are you sa...

I am amazed that you have a WTC coat of plates in stainless, and that price is ridiculously good. Somebody better snap that up quickly! If I did not already own three, I'd probably buy it myself. Quick question; How weatherproof are your banners? If I put one up on a flagpole, and left it out, how well would it hold up to the elements?

WTB brass vervelles and decorative fittings
Hi all, I want to attach four chains to the front of my Coat of Plates as they did sometimes in Germany in the 14th century. I need to be able to attach/detach them, so I need an attachment point. I was thinking something like a brass vervelle would work, with some kind of fancy decorative washer. I...

I have a stainless steel welded shirt from Darkwood that I use for demos for kids to try on. It works really well for most 8-12 year-olds. You can find them here: http://www.darkwoodarmory.com/index.php ... cts_id=262
