Spiffy! The bungee cord is vile but that's easily replaceable. Figure out a way that you can deal with shields and it's perfect.

Cool idea - I hate leaving my weapons lying all over and propping them against something is a recipie to have them fall over and knock over something breakable!

Servus! A trick to keep your bows from loosening: when tying a bow knot (like your shoes) when you get to the step where you loop it over your thumb, loop it a second time. Finish tying as normal. Servus! For general transport - I have a cool plastic box that has wheels on one end and a handle on the other. I always armor-up in camp and drag my fat carcass to the battlefield. To and from the field - I try to carry my helm, shield, spear, dagger, bastard sword, both gauntlets, water, pillows, ...
