So, my attempts to find folks who make Scale Maile have been...unlucky. So I'm gonna put some elbow grease on it, and do it myself. Budget is pretty open to whatever it takes to get the armor made.
I've got legs, and arms that will work. Really I just need the chest piece (the hard part) and an SCA interpretation of that helm.

Needs knee high boots that are ideally yellow or red. No heel. Soles good for fighting in.

I have a steel breast and back plate for my armor, so I'm looking for metal for my shoulder and upper arm protection. While I'm rocking a baseball zoombang under my kit, it's only gor protection over the top of the shoulder, so what I'm having happen is I'm getting nailed in the meaty bit of my arm....

When I started in on heavy, I needed a helm so I could know if the game was right for me. Being a small girl, there were NO loaner helms that were gonna fit me. So I knew I was gonna have to cough up some cash for one. I found Ironmonger to be great quality, price and speed.
