Yup it is SCA legal, I think I could pad it properly around but it seems to ride REALLY high. and when I lower it, it diggs into the shoulders.

I have an illusion armoury Basinet, but it is too big, will trade for a helm in my size. the helm is in mild steel(very minor rust) and 28" useing a sewing measure around the outside 'brow line'. My mellon is 23.5 arround the widest point of my head and 6" from brow to chin. will post pics if wanted...

or even better somthing I could use dual duty.....
