Re: UPS Rip OFF - Shipping to canada
Been there done that... Purchased fencing gear, paid 50$ for shipping, plus 52$ of brokage fees... For a purchase of 110$... UPS is BS! But we've been warned! The company catch line is "What brown can do for you?" US armourers should never ship to Canada with UPS, never. I suggest an armourarchive-w...

Looking for beatup rusted heavy spaulder and elbows

Looking for the cheapest musculata possible
Hello my friends!
I'm looking for the cheapest metal musculata out there (indian stuff or the like are fine with the need I have).
I saw some on Ebay at around 180$. Any better deal somewhere?
It's for a few sets of costumes for next football season...

I second what Animal wrote. We must not forget that the mongols were ruling over a vast empire and adopting many thing from other cultures (like siege from the Chinese). It is not impossible that they scrounge and/or tried to reproduce armour from everywhere over the Mongol Empire under Chinghis. Wi...

For the size of the pipe and the use of a hairdryer, it should be fine. You don't need a lot of air flow, just a little. Personally, I'm using a heating stove fan at the lower speed (probably the same air flow as a hairdryer at low speed). So you shlould be ok with your setting. For the grill in the...

American food is also full of corn syrup. I'm always amazed when I go south of the border to see it in so many food. At Corn Party at Pennsic this year, I'm gonna bring Canadian corn syrup on the table! Made from real sugar (no corn in it!!!!). lollllllllllllll Most of diabetes are type 2 due to our...

When I got switched to Novorapid/Levemir (About the same thing as Humalog/Lantus). I did many calculations and adjustments. One thing I've done with a nutritionist is to calculate every carb I eat, and the insulin I take. And this over a month or so. It is a lot of paperwork but it's worth it. This ...

Well, I said 10 to 12, and this is after breakfast and before heading to the battlefield. You know diabetes is different for everyone. In my personal case, I know heat and exercice deplete my sugar level pretty fast. I'm also "used" to excess in my diabetes management. I went through my entire adole...

I'm type 1 since the age of 11, so for the last 25 years... I'm with Novorapid and Levemir. Much easier control than the N and R I was on for too long... At Pennsic or big events, I make sure I'm going to the field around 10-12 mmols. I bring fruit juice for emercencies. And a few crackers with tuna...

Thanks. The maille is from Master Knutt. When I originally cut the maille to size it was shorter but I've lost a lot of weight since and it now goes down to the bottom of my knees. The helm was made by WMA and is modelled on the Northampton helm. Kenrick- I like the way your maile flows. Where'd yo...

As a combat archer myself I totally support all that Cian said. I totally understand the lady who got the arrow tip through her grill. Not funny at all. UHMW are easily damageable munitions, they can compress and fit through a grill. Especially if that arrow was shot, stepped one a few times, then g...
