Alex, If you just want the result rather than to explore the process, you might consider carving a single master in Wax, and then take it to a professional who can make a cold rubber Mould from it, cast 2doz more Waxes from the mould and then cast them all in Bronze. from what I've seen, ( A couple of folks round here use them, Including His Majesty) they offer a useful shoulder defence, and aren't a liability.
