Re: Smithfield lanterns Museum of London

I own the lantern marked "A" in the group photo. It is quite nice but the horn is a bit thick also as the candle melts down there in nowhere for the wax to go so it drips out of the front of the lantern under the horn panel. It is great for marking where the entrance of the tent is but I would not u...

I think you are right I have magnified the pic up to 400 times and it is an elbow cop but I am fuzzy on the the design. Or if it is more like this one.

Jack Chains with elbows

I came across this picture in of all things an Eyewitness book on Medieval life and was wondering where they based the elbow design on this recreated set of jack chains. Any ideas?

Hi,

The shoes look awesome. I was wondering if the widths are the standard widths or can you make a custom width. My foot is extremely wide 6E as a matter of fact and I have a difficult time finding period shoes.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi, How did you get the lettering to pop out so brightly? I have a blade also that I would love to know the signature on. I am sure it is some sort of cut down remount that I bought but it is still signed and I would love to know the history. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/Steve1964/katana1....
