I know I promised not to post, but Ugo didn't include an email in his profile, and I don't know if the one I have from two years back is still good. Anyway, if you ever do consider working some commissions on the side again, I'm still interested (definitely, seriously, without hesitation) in those k...

Now that it is firm, I'll send you my office address in CA, which should cut down on the cost of postage and the like. I'll contact you in a private email w...

Logan: "... at no time should blatantly modern equipment be acceptable on the field." So, if you don't mind, allow me to stir the pot a little more. There used to be another part to the rule that covers allowable penetration. I think it's .5" (might be .25"). A good test is to look at a right-angle corner and calculate the penetration in a 1" slot (like the tip of a broadsword). I don't know if this was the logic, but it worked when I was testin...

Here is a pic of mine --- it is slit front-and-back:

I didn't have a problem kneeling on it (most of the hard wear actually came from my spaulders around the shoulder).

OKT: "I am sure you dont see it, as you are not the punchline." Are you sure you have the right target audience? Geoffrey: "You want the center of the arc about 3" off the ground with the shield laying on its back." It may only be a matter of personal preference and technique, but a 3" depth across a nominal 24" face tends to lead to the back edge "grabbing" my shoulder whenever I try any sort of extension. I ...

Yes, it was the Revival coats I was talking about. They had one in my size, but like I said, I found it severely overstuffed for a foundation garment. Drop Luther a note and ask him for contact information for Gareth. I tried on one of his coats also, and it was much lighter and very well constructe...

white belt blanks
I'm in the market for a couple of white belt blank, 60" long, 1.75" wide to mount up the belts and furniture I bought from Tim Finkas last year. I really hoped I could find something at Pennsic, but the only thing available had a very plastic finish. I'd prefer to use something with a much "softer" ...

Check with Anshelm Arms -- Master Gareth sells at his booth at Pennsic. He actually had some stock pieces on hand. Gwen has recommended him before, and he stands by his work.
