At this time all i have for brass is A couple of door kick plats.
So a cross would have to be done in 3 parts. I dont really want to go that rout but could.
I guess Iwould add on 25 dollars for the added time to do that.

The helm pictured was done for my man at arms by me about 5 years ago. the helms are made from 14 ga. mild steel it takes me about 3 days to do two at a time. I do not take money down any more. I will make one to someones measurements. If there is any interest. I can't get into my shop every day so ...

Hal the top is 14 ga. stainless and the res is 16 Ga.
My fore arm and wrist wish they were from Cet. Hahahahaa.
I'm thinking I'm done playing with stainless.

The wields are good and strong. I had to use flux core wire. So there not as pretty as I would like. I will put up more pics when it is done.

after an hour with a jig saw 55 bucks doesn't sound bad.As for the hf shear.I have had mine for about 8 months and hsve only had to sharpen the blads one time.I cut 14 ga mild all the time and have used it with 14 ga stainless.I do have to be carefull and make sure the blades are in proper adjustmen...
