Salutation, the questoin is : How are Italian tassets like the one who are making the entire leg defense ( usually 10 lames ) are attached ? sliding rivets ou like a spaulder ? Thanks

I suggest the harbor freight power shear, cost 30$, work great for 18ga steel when the blades are fixed proprely. You'l need ear protection for that. Good luck !

Nah i didnt planish them, The thing is that I just received my dishing forms and tryed them out. I use 2 rawhide mallet on a 18 ga steel plate on a large dishing bowl from ironmonger. I put a piece of leather on the bowl to prevent scratching the metal and start pounding, i found that really easy to...

Salutation I used metal dishes forming two helm top and realised the exterior was quite hammered but it left somes construction marks. I want to get rid of these, I would usually use my orbital sander with a cushion under to get rid of it and try to make a nice looking finish with my grinder and som...

Hello, I am about to use horns on a fantastic helm, and I wanted to know if anyone ever attached horns to piece of armour or an helm. Maybe a vicking one, well I need to find a way to keep them on my helm and make it stay. I was thincking about rivet but I dont know if it would make cracks and chip....

But I think the gaping is made because , of how the things is assembled, each plate hold from the bottomso the only way it look clean its when used. I'll email other pics .

Thanks , alot for your advice , I understand the cause of your warning , and when I use my grinder i put gloves because its hot and i keep touching the grinder and I get shock at every sec.

I found making hole verry long, not difficult , but too long , is there a way it could be made quicker, I do 2 holes after i tryed to use a dremel , and it could tough 4 holes, i tryed a kinda roughpaper block, hard as stone, and it broke it self. I tryed a chisel but it wasnt making a nice job. so ...

Only wonder if it's normal , when i use my grinder to polish my piece , i receive little shocks when I touch de grinder with my right hand while holding my piece. Would there be a way to ground the tool.
