Ah the age old saying of buyer beware. Yeah id have to say he was just doing it to advoid the ebay fees of listing it at that high. Im sure ebay would LOVE to hear about that since they are all about getting their fair share of the loot.

Question on buying tools

So i am going to end up purchasing some tools from m What is a good starting weight for a raising hammer? they have them from 200-400 grams. I was also going to buy a rawhide filled mallet, but also not sure on what weight to get, they range from 2-11 oz. m or am i reading this wrong? Merick

Thanks for the suggestion Saint-server, that sounds like my best bet right now as i really dont want to invest money in a lower quality instrument, and some of the better ones i was looking at are out of my price range. Now just to find someone in the area.

Ive alwasy found that making plastic armor is really easy. Just get a pattern, trace it on a barrel with a sharpie (found that red shows well on both white AND black. Then just cut out the shapes with a router, melt the edges/ shape with a blowtorch, and then drill holes and you are ready to go. Wha...

Hey I am just starting out armouring and recently picked up Halberds toolkit. I did notice that it is suggested to pick up some more hammers for working with. Where do you guys usually get them from? Also where is can i pick up an anvil from?

Anyone heard or have any comments about a Woodward-Fab throatless shear? I see a few of them on ebay such as m I contacted the seller and told me - The shear is from Woodward-Fab. It will work 1/8" mild steel and 14 gauge stainless. Does this compare to a beverly? something that will cut 14 ga stain...
