With the cobra torch you use more acetylene than oxygen, the extra acetylene acts as a shield against the oxidisation of the oxygen. Thanks! I've yet to make anything from woollen fabric apart from blankets, so I'm not familiar with the descriptive terms used, the weave types or anything like that.
