From the work I have done with plastic shaping using an oven to soften allows for curving and molding smoothly. a heat gun or torch allows for faster curves or bends. the thing to be careful of is the sudden bend that is unwanted.

I was looking for a period "day/inside pavillion" I used to see them in the early 90s they are only one man tall tents. Does anyone have a link to them? Being tall I would suggest 7 foot tall walls.

Besides the ease of entrance and exit it will allow more light in.

downsides more canvas, more reaching and larger sail potential.
