you can, Magus. A killing blow is a killing blow.. I have had Marshals call in my favor when I drove someones shield down with the haft and had enough force on the head to make it a good shot. the comment was "good! but the sheild stopped it!".. umm.. no. If the striking edge hits your head with su...

If you bow can pass through an eyeslot, bounce it. If the prods on your crossbow can do the same, bounce it as well. Make the armor safety standard fit ACROSS THE BOARD. Maeryk Side note here. Maeryk/Magus toad: Altough there are some disadvantages to the plate as proof, I think they are far outweighed by the results. I wouldn't want it for a permanent rule, but it makes a good optional rules set. Also, it gives you a reason to carry that war hammer or battleaxe. The wrestling around tha...

Faceplates shots are "nuclear".. we are wearing open faces. Other shots require sufficient force/and or depend on hit. I dont know how much I like that idea. ANy rhino with 4 grand to spend on cap a pie will be invincible, because no weapon will be able to penetrate, and our combat rules do not allow for repeat stress to one part of the armor. Maeryk I think this is exaclty the scenario that the accepted armour sta...

We tried to talk to the res hall administration dept. Wouldn't give us an audiance. Meh.

I lucked out the next two years and had a floor counselor that was of the "...don't make me report you, I hate paperwork." variety and only had to refrain from bringing in the toys past the front desk. :)

The next morning, I get called down to legal and they were writing me up for bringing a "dangerous weapon" onboard the ship. At one point I remember experimental rules int eh Mid for a chain gaunt(often a butcher's glove) as a special offhand weap that allowed enclosed-thumb grasping of the blade and renderd the hand immune from drawcut. Point-thrust was still good.

I'm not sure what happened to it though.

I'm choosing to take the 'legged = incap' stance as well. My main reason being the desire to have my natural knees into my later years in life. Shopping about for tents... any input?

Hello, my lady and I are starting to look about for tents. I would like a yurt personally, but they are rather pricey. So we are thinking of getting a standard pavilion-esq tent. Looked at panther primitives and they come recomended from a few friends. Who else is out there? Any specific models/styl...

I love plate armor. I'm going for Ti on my kit because of it's weight and low maintenance properties. Cost I can deal with if I save smartly.
