I have spoken and dealt with him a couple of times... I can only echo what the others have said. Good guy loves to talk and will explain at length everything you might want to know about his armour. I also have to say that his stuff is pretty much rock solid, he wont put out anything unsafe. Also he...

2. You carry them in batches. Six bottles to a carrier. These bottles are cheap, and then you can get a lot of water to several people quickly. You can carry as much in those bottles as you can one plague-ridden contact jug. have you priced those bottles and carriers? From what I can find you are l...

The question I have asked in multiple forums (and have yet to get a response...) How, *precisely* is waterbearing any different from cooking and serving feast? We don't license our Head Cooks, there is no authorization. If they are Servsafe or otherwise licensed, it isn't the SCA's rule, it is a si...

No, Maeryk, I don't have it backwards. You don't get that pulling the service creates a liability - but it does. no, I don't think it does. I can see no way someone can sue for the SCA failing to provide them free water on demand. They don't come camp to camp and offer food to anyone who is hungry....

Does this apply to using kingdom water buffalos to haul in water to sites that do not have it, or do the volenteers have to haul in there own water making our kingdom and several others water buffaloes useless. I would think it to mean we cant use the water buffaloes simply because the SCA would st...

I'm personally a big fan of the non-contact bottles. I know that some like sucking on hose. It's not that hard to have both available. Very true. Unfortunately, the problem is that one side is always saying "its all or nothing". Meaning the side that says "we will do both" gets told "no you won't, ...
