Philippines Armorers

I'm curious if there are any armorers here from the Philippines or at least can ship to the Philippines without killing the bank. I am in need of a bearded Danish axe but the shipping has been murder.

Re: Problem with Derek Stiver of Performance Armour?

Was going to type this. Fingers saved. Maybe; maybe not. When he accepted the armor back and agreed to fix it for an additional charge, he created a new contract which he then breached. Furthermore, at least in Texas, the statute of limitations for breach of contract is four years. The SOL for decep...

Maile for a Male

I am looking to pick up a hauberk of maile for an experiment. I think my kit would look so much better with maile, however I'm worried that I will hate fighting in it. Does anyone have a rig sitting around that they are interested in parting with? I want something that will survive SCA combat, is in...

Review: Woodstuffs (Egill Gullbjarnarson)

I’ve been waiting a while to post this review. Around July 9th, 2008 I ordered a bed frame and 2 camp chairs from Egill Gullbjarnarson after seeing a number of positive endorsements from fellow Achievers. I paid in full and was assured that everything would be completed and ready for delivery at P...

Review: Hessan Iron Works

Back in June I was reading about the Tuchux Charity Tournament and decided I wanted to contribute. An aunt of mine had just passed away from breast cancer and I wanted to do something special for her. I wanted something that could slaughter your opponents to and fro, while at the same time showing a...

MdB, I bought one of your lovely bottles a while ago and just starting using it. I have a question, though concerning the pitch. I notice that it has a tendency to "bleed" into my drinks. Do I need to do anything special to it to make it stop, or will it stop on its own? Or will it always be there?

Speaking of my arms: Although they didn't quite fit, they are downright snazzy pieces! (I blame myself for them not fitting. I don't think I conveyed the measurements right.) Not only were the arms good looking and put together to stop bullets, but communication was absolutely amazing. I think I was...

Okay, I went and got a wonky leg for my birthday (not what I wanted, but I can't refuse a gift) and may need knee surgery. Plague, torture, pestilence, cruelty and burning at the stake are all evils that, like mercenaries, are quite period. Should we bring those back too?

The sabre quillion itself was created and donated by Sir Stefhan of Hessan Iron Works.

But at least you are acknowledging that SCA is in no way a Martial Art. That's a step in the right direction... if more of your SCA brethren had that same attitude, perhaps things would be different.
Yeah, even less of us would be interested in ARMA.

The bar and some odds and ends. Since most of the stuff fits neatly in the bar, we just need room to store about 72 cubic feet (6'x4'x3'...I hope my math is correct).
