Hi There
Many of the suits in Grandson are fakes or reproductions if you like not all though, the gothic armour in question i belive is 19th.c. Many real pices are there too but coppled togheter in the 1970-80ties to make the display.

One pointer is not to use to thin material. The thinner material the more difficult it becomes, and the more careful you have to be.

Hi Chef, does your account of the battle not show the older view on the battle and how and where the battle was fought, before Michael K. Jones book Psychology of a Battle BOSWORTH 1485 came out in 2002?

Not that it alters with the fact that Richards standart bearer was killed.

Sorry couldent help it. It does actually sound strange that a fully armoured man has both legs chopped of. Plate armour was very effective. Jiri you maniac :D

Its looks great, and i thought you only did gauntlets.

When raising a great basinet like this, it can be a help to forge it from the neck, and towards the faceopening, with the helmet horisontal. Instead of from the top of the skull and down. Less material to move.
