Hi guys. I am looking to purchase historical well made good quality replica shields and crossbows used in britain by the english during medieval times.

I don't want these for combat but just for display purposes.

Could you pls reccomend some good places for me to purchase such items.

I know its pretty hard to stop rust from attacking but I just got a helmet and some other armour a month ago or so and I can see rust starting to appear and its freaking me out. What should I be doing to help slow down this awful orange monster from attacking?

how do you guys try and prevent rust from attacking your suits?

I want as close as recemblance/feel/weight/metal etc to that which Knights would have used. I do not want this armor for combat but more for my one plesure in wearing and displaying in my house.

I am thinking of buying a few helmets and a full suit from Valentine Armouries. Is it worth it or can I find better quality historical replicas somewhere else?
