Well, I dont put much stock in a lot of lamellar conclusions because there really isnt much to conclude. I'm unaware that Indians had laminated bows, and a cursory internet search shows no evidence of it. Spanish often dropped the usage of armor, and adopted cloth based armor. I think that one of the Ospreys shows a surviving example of a BP that had an embossed cross that was cut out and attached to ...

lamellar was normally laced with leather, especially in south-eastern Europe. and lamellar is NOT coat of plates. there's quite some difference. And I think everyone forgot what the OP was asking - if he could use lamellar as an 11th century English persona? Yes he can - just say he got it from one...

We have a bucket of geesh, probably at least 50-100 steel plates that were originally designed for a brig/corazzina. Many are precurved, roughly 19 ga I think.

Ive been looking for a good excuse to get rid of them. You interested?

..such a thing as a conductive motor/engine lubricant?

I ask because Im always replacing the carbon brushes in my tools.

I thought some type of electrically conductive lubrant used in carefully placed quantities might be helpful to minimize the wearing of the brushes.
