What would differentiate a 10th. C. Magyar helm from say, a 10th C. Russia helm? Would it be a spangen type? Raised dome? What exactly are you looking for?

What's a "decent price"? For that time period, I'd say Knotwolf would be the guy to contact. If you could provide pics of examples, he'd turn out something brilliant, I'm sure. His prices are more than hjalmr however...but for a custom, non-popular period and helm type, you should expect that.
