Teaching at Pennsic
Will you be coming out to Pennsic this year? If you are will you be teaching? I would love to see what I call "the Atenveldt Style" started by you used by more painters in more places. I had the pleasure of talking with two folks who learned from you (or from someone you taught) at Estrella this spr...

FS: Used Panther Tent ~ Good Condition
My lovely French Double Belled Wedge tent is now available for $800 or your best offer. The set up runs $1400+ new. This tent is great for single campers. The awing works well as a separate day shade and the interior pole redesign makes it roomy inside. Let me know if you are interested. <a href="ht...

Met Book Sale: Helmut Nickel's Book for $5
I'm not terribly familar with Helmut Nickel's Arms & Armor Book published by the Metropolitan Musuem of Art, but a copy is on its way to me. If you haven't already seen, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is selling off GOOD books cheaply. His is one of them. http://tinyurl.com/metsale Also, Byzantine g...

Maybe no Pennsic
I might not be coming to Pennsic this year. I've got friends who just moved to Germany. (Hi, Haldan) I miss them all and would love to see Germany and parts of Europe while they're living there. So.....I'm going this year.

Might I have some assitance from more experienced silk banner painters? I'm using Bart's instructions to work from, so I've got Dupont dyes. I've laid down my two lightest colors: yellow and red. Reusable frame
Hmmm...
I'd like to be able to reposition the sides to reuse the frame for smaller pieces should the urge strike.
Looks like the safety pins, rubber bands and finishing nails make the most sense.
Thanks,

I think I was at your feast this year. I'm assuming there is only 1 Murdock on the AA. I'm really bad at names, but Kate "sounds" right in my mind. She did a great meal this year, even though we got there late I enjoyed it.
I'd be happy to help. Let me know what you need and when this will be.
