Who can tailor wedge rivet HE maille?
Im just curious at the moment to see if this would even be financial viable but I have one of the original haubergeons offered by Historic Enterprises. The sleeves were way to wide (if I remember correctly somewhere in the 22-24" dia.) so I had them tailored. (down to mm 18-19" dia.) As of now they ...

Hello, Im looking for any and all pictures (illuminations) of early 15th century armours. (not the typical late 14th century variations) I havent had much luck in finding them myself. I did find the ones from the Capodilista and I am looking for similar - unique variations of helmets (early sallet /...

Oh! and check out the arms of the guy with the crown. blackended armour with laten! And the other guy in green has blackened armour as well. I havent seen any images showin...

14th century scale faulds
Whats the opinion on how they function properly? The way they are portrayed makes them appear as though they would be very stiff - how can you bend? Altough those on horseback appear to be almost standing, so articulation is not nesessary? (I know nothing about riding horses...) Even is the fauld st...

WTS Riveted haubergeon
Just thought I'd post to see if anyone was interested in buying my HE wedge riveted haubergeon. Its the old version that is made from 16g instead of 18g. It also fits a larger chest size (48") and probably larger arm size as all. I had the sleeves tailored down, because originally they were sized fo...

The bascinet, and quilted liner were purchased from historic enterprises. The bascinet was made by Jeffrey Hedgecock. It will fit up to a 23.5" head "This helmet is based primarily on a helmet dated circa 1400 in Schloss Churburg in Northern Italy, inventory #13. The occularium and breaths are of hi...

I decided I would do a crude test on an old piece of armour I was working on a while back. It was a center piece to a lentner I was making (similar in appearance to the center plate in the churburg 13 breastplate) Its made from 16g mild. This plate (the one I tested on) as well as the others were fo...

I believe you could thrust a weapon through a breastplate. Would anyone be willing to suit up in a harness (not overly thick non-historical, suited for sca combat guages) and let someone take powerfull thrusts at them with a sharply tapered weapon... I know I wouldnt. Though Im sure the glacing surf...

Does anyone know about the 14th century breast, visor, and mail? The visor looks authentic, and so does the breast - though I am unsure about it as there is never any reference to it - is it? As for the mail, to me it looks like a reproduction, and a poor one at that. The rivet heads are all facing ...
