The lampwork beads and Viking boasting strand is my work.
earlier in the day from when this was taken, I received a Sable Thistle (entry level arts & sciences award in Ansteorra) for my lampwork.
(I did not make the brooches).

I didn't see a post from Mac about it, so I thought I'd make sure folks saw the hella nifty new fasteners they have at Billy & Charlies. I just ordered a bunch last night.

Re: Am Hosting as Fundraising Auction on Facebook.
While the fundraiser doesn't currently contain any arms or armor, there's some original art based on the Manesse Codex and The Book of the City of Ladies by Christine de Pizan that I thought might find of interest. There's also some jewelry and such made by my own hands.

Whew! I finally got through "Dusting off the Cobwebs" and made my way to the end of this one. It's been a diligent week of reading. I've learned so much in the past week - not to mention the simple 'take a day off between fluting' advice. I'm super grateful for all this knowledge - not just from Ma...

well, darn it, i lost my reply due to an internet hiccup. let's try this again. I've never been to Pennsic or Gulf. My physical condition is such that I can't take the camping or the walking or the weather. The last time I went to Estrella, it absolutely wrecked me. If I can't day trip or hotel, I can't go.

Yes! It was you, Losthelm. Thank you. Look for an order from me again soon
(And I'll have to give the hatpins a try!)
and yes, Galileo, I use bead release
I just over heat them sometimes (I think) and it makes the release not function properly.
