Here is a helm I built 3 plus years ago from the kit. I never did anything with the finish, just left it in the mill-scale back.

I do the nylon strapping tape rope as described above as well as a duct-tape rope over that and then cover it for prettiness.

I use the Ebonwoulfe stainless cup hilts. No problems using this method for the last couple of years.

After much discussion re: WoH, and misspeaking when the 10-man would be, here are the day/time for each

10-man melee: 6-Aug-12 5:00pm to 7:30pm SOUTH BATTLEFIELD - EAST

WoH: 8-Aug-12 3:00pm to 5:00pm WHITE LIST
