Re: Fighting after Fifty
I'm 55 and I have not stopped fighting in 24 years. Fighting motivates me to keep fit. A Knight in my household, 5 days older than me, is still fighting. I have made efforts to manage my weight and get stronger (lifting weights) so that I can keep up with the other (the majority younger) fighters. M...

Re: Fit Bit Flex wearing while fighting?
Thanks for the input. My gauntlets would cover it. I think for now I'll take it off for tourneys. I may try it wearing armour agains the pell or in a practice, where I can control things better.

Thank-you. Dan, I'm not writing a paper as this is a verbal presentation. Over time I do expect to have a set of talking points and references in point form for my benefit and eventually share with the students. I'm pessimistic that it will happen this year (rather swamped at work). Master Galleron ...

ISO Examples of agile Men at Arms
Greetings, Can anyone provide me links to historical references to Men at Arms (armoured Knights) being very agile in their armour? Combat of the Thirty Video up on You Tube
I have posted my video of the most recent CotT on You Tube. It is just over eight minutes long and the fighting does not start until the 5 minute mark. Lots of footage of armour, which we all enjoy looking at. If you watch the video I would appreciate ratings and comments. http://youtu.be/xkSAeMZxJsU

Has anyone tried this either in combat or other sports? Not sure if I would want with a bar grilled helm but many inside a closed faced.
