Thanks for all the compliments. I have a Canon Rebel XT. The sun cooperated at the event, that along with a very nice zoom lens helped me out quite a bit.

Thanks Brother Amos...as far as the padding, where do they need to be padded to pass in the Middle ? I am certainly looking for something affordable, but given the fact that we are talking about my fingers and all the bones there to be broken, I will certainly spend the extra $$$

Im looking to purchase a pair. I have an early period personna so I understand nothing will really work "well". I certainly cannot afford some of these that cost 800 plus. Are there any other there ?

With the center grip that I am going to use on this shield, do you install the handle straight up and down or install it with an angle ?
