Hello, I've recently stumbled onto a picture of part of an effigy that has since been identified as that of Ulrich de Huss (Or Ulrich von Huss, or Ulrich de Hass), on display in Musee Unterlinden, Colmar, France. The effigy is apparently from around about 1345-50. Has anyone got any more information...

I have several dresses made from 100% linen, and they get washed and dried several times a year. Although the dryer may hasten the breaking down of the fibers.
