I've made a few scabbards. I've never done a sabre before (but I did a falchion). And I don't claim to be anywhere near as good as Tritonworks or DBK. But I also don't charge $400-$1000 for a scabbard or take 6 months to make it. (Though it does take close to a month when you consider drying times ...

I had a similar experience to Mr. Gilman. I almost ordered from him 12 years later, but my wife said no way. I got an entire harness from a super talented Ukrainian armorer for the price of the helmet Luther quoted, and it was delivered early.
