Shamrock Turkish Helm FS
It's been a while since I've been around here on the boards actively, but I'm looking to sell my Shamrock Armory Turkish Helm. Fits my head at 22 1/2 inches without padding and it's 25 1/2 with one layer of padding. Served me well for the last 4 years, few tape scuffs no dents. Stainless throughout,...

A great idea for a smaller shop. For those folks who have little space to do little more than basic repairs.

Re: Starting up in Heavy Rapier - seems to be a blade issue
There are some fencers in the Quad Cities I believe. It's a pity that nothing is really being done with CS. I guess Calontir will just let it die - I don't think they really wanted to do it that much. My influence aint much these days but I will bug some of the Society rapier folks if you would lik...

Not committing to buying one, but I'd love to see someone do something like this.
It's tough finding Ottoman accessories.

Re: is this cone of use?
Anvil horns? Seriously? This is obviously a mandrel. Looks like a freaking *awesome* mandrel, at that. If overseas shipping wouldn't make it so impractical, I'd buy one from you. I thought it looked like a spindle from a piece of heavy equipment. I have no real use for a mandrel, my mind went strai...

Re: is this cone of use?
I see plenty of use for it. I would see about mounting it horizontally and using it like an anvil horn.
Perhaps welding a section of square tubing to the bottom and making a mount/holder that has 3 positions. Horizontal, vertical, and at a 45 degree angle.

Unfortunately most of my kit is covered by a tabbard, I was asked to be royal guard for evening court at coronation this last weekend. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/19500_10200363949839985_170930063_n.jpg And the head shot. I'm certain Sir Wulfric has intent, I'd like to see him crowned prince if only just to have a royal locally. I'm hoping that he's had enough practice in recently. I know of his prowess, much was displayed this last Valor Tournament. I do hope he's been able to play enough recently to finish in the t...

If the comments and story printed did one thing, it was to show the true spirit and character of Ugo and Chris in ways I've not come across before. I know them only through digital media, here and their websites and exploits. I've seen their skill, their wares, their art. But none of that compares t...

I've used those same upholstery tacks for my swords. Here's my latest. Just finished it tonight for a tourney tomorrow. I fight in a pair like this. I removed the lacing on the back, now it relies on the internal straps and I hard rivetted a few of the lames together. I've fought hard in mine for a few years, the lames will flatten out and you'll have to redish/rebend them back into shape after years of abuse. I've n...

I made this one, I've not gotten the technique down just yet. I did use it for 2 stick, it's about the same as using a sword and hand axe.
