Hidden Leg Armor Opinions

I'm updating my kit and one of the things I am doing is having my leg armor hidden. I would like something I can slip on and not worry about. So here is my question, what are the experiences like minded folk have had with Zoombang, Shock Doctor, MotorX compression shorts, etc? Knee armor I have figu...

Re: Chainmail Sizing

Kult of Athena is where I am eyeballing the haubergon. I'm a 50" chest, they have one that is sized up to 56". With my gambeson on, I'm about a 54". Duke Icefalcon also sells one similar that will go up to 60". From what it looks like I will probably be buying from him but I wanted to see what the o...

Chainmail Sizing

I'm thinking of getting a Haubergon. My question is when buying a finished mail shirt, how did you go about sizing yourself for a correct fit? I have read that the recommended method is take your chest measurement(while wearing whatever you plan to wear under the mail) and add 10 inches. Thoughts an...

Re: Review: Viking Leathercrafts

Just an idea, but I noticed that Frank has a review section on his website. I'm not 100% certain on how to post a review but perhaps he could shed some light on this. I been thinking of writing one myself for the pair of leather arms I bought from him almost 7 years ago that are still holding strong.

Combat Training aid through Video Games

Pretty soon both Microsoft and Sony will be releasing thier motion activated hardware for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. I didn't see much about the games coming out for the 360 in the E3 coverage but Sony is releasing a couple games that are combat simulators. One of them is Lord of the Rings:...

I bought some Ashcraft Baker stuff through the renstore along time ago. A while later I ordered another basket hilt from Ash/B themselves, figured I would save a few bucks...

Anyone dealed with Two Ravens Armoury?

I'm shopping around for the prospect of getting a new helm. Two Ravens has a lot of sweet designs and I always like something different. Just wanted to politely see if anyone has done business with them and how do you like thier product?

It all depends on the fighter. First I would look at thier armour, if thier gear is not letting them feel a good shot then thats something that would need to be discussed with that person on the side. Talking to the person usually helps, at least then you can tell whether they are obliviuos to what ...
