Yeah, you can quit the SCA but you really can't quit shoveling snow. Even turning a snowblower put a good bit of torque on the shoulders. So does a really old push lawnmower.. 5 pulls to start and my shoulder was killing me afterwards. I am not looking forward to this winter at all luckily have abo...

SOLD thanks everyone

I injured my shoulder back in February shoveling snow and tried to work through them. Unfortunately therapy has not helped and it hurts to throw shots anymore so I am getting rid of all my stuff. I will use flat rate boxes on everything unless asked otherwise. So most will fit in a medium box which ...

I have heard of people adding a thin spray rubber on the inside of their helmets to help prevent rust as well as soak up some of the vibrations that may cause ringing in the helm but as long as it is a properly made helm you should not be worried about it getting destroyed in sca combat.

Anyone out there with any Groo? I've got a Marvel and some DC from the late 80's early 90's, buncha the X-men spin-offs. I just sold all my old Groo comics to a friend over the winter.. the only comics I have now are the Ultimate Fantastic 4 comics and the newer She Hulk ones that my daughter reads.

I do this as well (when swung at) but I think my problem is that I use a loaner helm and it doesn't fit quite right. I also wear my glasses under my helm which could be part of the issue. I found doing some of the Duke U 2 person exercises helped a lot because you can't close your eyes or you will h...
