I want to make some scales. I want to do it with 410 because if you do a bad job cleaning it up after heat treating, it looks a lot like weathered mild steel. If the holes are all within 2" of the edge, then Corey's right and you should just get a punch. A proper punch made by RW (not the HF knockoffs) will last for at least hundreds of holes. What is "thicker"? I have a couple square feet of flesh color 1/8". Pretty sure I also have some black 1/8" ABS. I think I'd need to flatten some of it back out. If you're close to Woodbridge let me know. I'm in the shop tonight so I'll find out what I have.

I'm in the DC area and always found it easier to order online. I've gotten things from interstateplastics.com before... they had a $50 minimum back in the day, and their site looks shiftier than it did before, but I found the prices comparable at the time.
