Re: Viking Leathercrafts Update

Keep up the good work Frank and take care. Remember the majority of your customers understand that it sometimes takes a little more time for quality stuff to be prepped and shipped. I look forward to another order early on in the new year.

Step on your people scale without it, then step on your people scale with it and subtract the difference.

Nice helm BTW, wish I had the cash sitting around for it!

Viking Leather Crafts Review

What separates a great merchant from the pack? Having every transaction perfect every time? Nope. I ordered a "DIY" Cuisse belt kit from Frank back in March. After a few weeks when I hadn't heard anything and my order status had been unchanged, I asked if there was any progress on the kit. Turns out...

Re: WTB Bell Wedge tent

I LOVE my Midwest Tent. The only downside is that you have to wait for them to make stock and then what they have is what they have. If you call or email them, it can get them to start a run or at least they'll let you know when they plan on having it in stock. Mine fits our queen size four poster b...

Re: WTB: USED Viking Leather Craft Viking Boots Size 9

I saw a reference about a local cobbler adding a heel. Just for the record, if anyone wants something like this done, added heel for a more comfortable wear, etc, just ask, I may be able to help. Frank It was an after the fact idea otherwise I would have. Thanks. I thought the buckles or ties would...

Re: WTB: USED Viking Leather Craft Viking Boots Size 9

Which styles are the best for fighting in? Some of them have a toggle closure which looks good but doesn't look like it would work well for running and fighting in. I have buckle's on mine, my wife's tie. I have no problems with my buckle version, they look nice and I can run and fight in them unde...

We used to call that "grrring". We would tell somebody that their shirt/hat/person looked too shiny or clean and would offer to "grr" it. It really just involved throwing the item (or person) on the ground kicking dirt and stepping on the item (or person) saying "grrr grrr"

Re: Still looking for a used Ruger 10/22 or a Marlin 795

I think the biggest issue would be your state of residency. Are you officially considered a resident of a particular state? State law would control how the deal went. Our gun laws are pretty screwed or completely awesome depending on the state you are in. Just over a year ago I had to make a cross c...

Re: A possibly crazy idea - oxy/natural gas

Household gas pressure is usually less than 1 PSI. The most common is 0.25 to 0.5 PSI. Jurgen 1 psi= 29" of water column. My lp furnace requires between 11 and 14". (I'm saying Jurgen is spot on :D ) Compressed nat gas would be about the only way I can see this happening. LP Gas is served at higher...

Re: A possibly crazy idea - oxy/natural gas

Household gas service comes in at around 4 psi. Back when I lived in Alameda, I remember reading of a business fire, a restaurant if memory serves, that erupted when a valve upstream failed one night and gas came in to the kitchen pilot lights at 12 psi or so. The resulting surprise big flame set t...
