You'd likely be in German or Italian armour, since thats who's makeing alot of the stuff in that period. The French are sending/ sellin us equipment, part of the auld alliance. You are also a Lowland noble and as likely to have some land in England as not, so you may have armour bought from there. L...

As for a minimum gague, i doubt we'll need to be at 12 ga for helms. Otto Von Tiech and i have whacked each other with del tins a pretty fair bit, he was wearing a low gothic rig from Valentine, so i think they're stuff is 18 ga. It would also depend on what kinda metal ya use, if it's spring or HC ...

When the marshall taps you and tells ya you can leave (or when your sure noone is armound) get up an go around the fighting. Pop your top and watch the carnage. Don't feel bad _most_ of us get ki...

Ok lets narrow it to at least 15 years.

I like 1375-1390.

That give us a broad enoughtime to not look exactally alike and have, several campaigns
to draw from. Well the last one appears to have been 1391, so we'd miss one.

But most of it will focus obviously on the English and they're allies in the late 14th century. I am still open to moving the geography over ...

Cloest thing i have found is to use hardwood ply and edge it with several layers of canvas glued into place with water proof wood glue.

I stain the backs with a mahogany stain from wall mart, makes em look nice IMO.

They last for 6-8 months

Pine lasted for 2 months.
