Is bag work a waste of time? Are Kata a waste of time? No. All types of traning have value. For ex; until about a month ago i had never actually ridden a horse, but i had read several books on horsemanship and riding, so i had a basic idea of what to do. Now i didn't hop on and gallop off, but i did...

We packed the channels in mine until they were stiff, very stiff. That seems to work better than just quilting. I'd say stuff em.

We did not pad the knees.

Remember dogs were also regional. A Shepard dog from England, might be what we'd tink of as a English Sheepdog, big and wolly. A German sheep dog, would be more like a modern Geraman Sheppard. They were also somewhat class and job spacific. Rotts for ex are very very old, used as light draft animals...

Why justify it?

Just play, know it's not historically correct and play. Bargrills and baskethilts are'nt period and that bothere me alot more than fighing girls.

I kinda wish we could prove it, more people to fight, more girls in armour Image

An decent pathologist supposedly can look at a skeleton and determine sex fairly easily. Were these bodies that had been sexed wrong complete or mostly complete skeletons, or were they piles of smashed bone? Misidentifying a mostly complete skeleton i find highly unlikely, espically since a woman "k...

Still _very_ thin in the "women fought in battles and tournaments"

Bran basically just described how we start out new people here. If ya break a newbie they don't come back.

I'd also point out that Sir Kit is not nearly as small as the people being discusses.

I think the people being discussed were 5ft or less and under 100 lbs.

She's little but not that little.

I think that it's exactally what needs to happen when people play with those not from their kingdom.

Talk to each other, pop their shield with a minimal good shot, so peopel at least have an idea of the page the other guy is on.

We know it's lighter no need to prove it, you can drop weight without resorting to barrels. BTW if you use them anyway,...

Is this a joke?

If not why plastic?

It's not light if you make it thick enough to be effective. It's not that durable either, it also ain't cheap. Look at Egg Armoury's site.
