I have to wear a close faced helmet, i'm ugly and i make goofy faces when i fight.


I also have horrible perifreal (sp?) vision anyway, so it doesn't make much difference to me.

Jasper, was this at the practice we had two weeks ago or at Manuvers?

The person being thrusted per the rules here in Meridies should have taken the first one, assuming he saw it amd knew he was thrusted. Should have taken #2 for sure.

I thought it might have been the rattan too but i've got multiple sticks from multiple sources. I seem to break rattan like crazy. I mean i break at least a stick a month. When i'm fighting alot maybe a stick a week. They seem to break about 8 inches from the point almost every time. It should be a blow that you believe, on your honor, was representative of a blow capable of injury through the assumed armour.

IE you should go "ow" or at least "glad i have armour on, that would have hurt pretty bad."

Nasty bruise on an unarmoured spot seems about right.

I'd have to agree that mean is the biggest factor in combat, followed closely by smart.Big can help but it is by no means a cure all.
