There's one thing I know of that will help with the vibration in your sword... Pad the basket. Where it makes contact with the stick itself needs to have some kind of cushion. Either leather or tape or whatever you want to use, but make sure you have some kind of material in between the metal of the...

This is the first I've heard of it. I've fought in Calontir, Ansteorra, and West. If you rush into a group of enemy combatants by your lonesome, I see no reason you shouldn't suffer for it at the hands of as many people as can reach you.
