If I ever try this again, I'll keep that in mind. I find it very unlikely I'll do it for a 2 hander again, though. As is, it took over an hour just to do the wire.

Has anyone ever tried this? I'm sure someone has, but I've never seen any pictures of it. I did a bastard sword with a wire-wrapped hilt using some Clang Hardware I bought recently:
