I was thinking a pair of those elbows would look good with the black and white kit for SCA fighting. Styled to match, of course. Both sets of spaulders end in about the same spot and angle, so the same attachment points should be feasable.

And that's why I like close helms... The VS burgonet I used to own (after I added chin padding, sat right on my chin w/ plenty of room for my nose. That "chin strap" was made of solid steel. If someone's throwing hard enough to break that I don't want to play anymore...

I've only had the pleasure of fighting one Tuchux so far. I enjoyed it. He was one of the few people who didn't whine when I hit him really hard, instinctively trapped his weapon when he threw a bad shot, or fought left-handed. It was fun. :lol:
