Keep in mind that with the rings rubbing together, the color won't last long in use. ive been pondering exactly this issue. would even the heat blued chain lose color from chafing? yes. Heat Blueing forms an iron oxide layer at the surface of the metal - adding oil adds oil residue. Both will event...

Depending on how quick you need them, you should try armstreet. He's having a sale on his now. m I've ordered a pair with just a few mods and was still reasonable. I'd be leery of the construction. The lames appear to be riveted to strips of leather, which is less secure than metal-to-metal articul...

Harald Hardradda took an arrow to the throat. Harold Godwinson was supposed to have been hit in the eye, but I have heard that this incident may have been a later garbling of the two battles (Stamford Bridge and Senlac Hill). It has been suggested that the guy pulling the arrow out of his eye on th...

heraldry as we know it is european, not ottoman, which will be a large historical stumbling block.

SCAwise, check out the heraldry primers on sca.org

for rapid prototyping of heraldric charges, go here: http://www.karlwilcox.com/?page=shield and it will autogenerate pretty pictures for you.

Arnica gels are not, strictly speaking, homeopathic. (they actually contain arnica). Logan is correct in his summation of homeopathic "theory", and equally correct in his derision, but not in his classification. Arnica does, in fact, contain anti-inflammatory agents. They're toxic in high ...
